Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher of the late sixth century, wrote: “Nothing
endures but change.” As we look to the future of the United States Coast
Guard Auxiliary, this simple phrase still rings true.

Throughout the past year the senior management of the Auxiliary and

worked hard to understand our environment. We’ve identified major drivers
for change and developed well thought-out plans and programs. We’ve
communicated our shared vision to the membership.
