America's Boating Course (ABC) Presentation Available
The updated America's Boating Course - PowerPoint Presentation is now
available on the Education Department's Electronic Library. These slides are
keyed to the 2005 edition of ABC, and contain facilitation-style bullet
points as well as comprehensive instructor notes. These instructor notes are
incorportated in the outline view of the slides, and are available as a
separate document as well.

National Safe Boating Week Digital Photo Album Contest Announced
Do you enjoy taking pictures? Heres an opportunity for you to "tell the
story" and help show what your flotilla or division has done during National
Safe Boating Week (NSBW). The HYPERLINK "http://www.auxpa.org/"National
Department of Public Affairs invites flotillas and divisions to submit
entries for its NSBW Digital Photo Album Contest. Winners from each region
will be announced at NACON and posted on SITREPs coverage of NACON.

Vessel Safety Check Mega Weeks
Vessel Safety Check Mega Weeks is scheduled for May 20 through July 9, 2006.
The intent of this event is to focus attention on the Vessel Safety Check
Program through the participation of the Auxiliary, US Power Squadrons, and
various partnering organizations including marine retailers, marinas and
