Award of teh Presidential Unit Citation 

On May 25, 2006, at the Commandants Change of Command Ceremony, President
Bush presented the Presidential Unit Citation (puc) to the U.S. Coast Guard
for meritorious achievement and outstanding performance in action from
August 29 to September 13, 2005, in preparation for, and response and
recovery to devastation wrought by hurricane Katrina. This award will apply
to all of Team Coast Guard since the response to Katrina was an all-hands
effort.

Safety Lines Published

The June 2006 edition of Safety Lines is now available on the HYPERLINK

Security Forms Upgrade

The three forms required for Operational Support-level Personnel Security
Investigations (PSI) have been HYPERLINK

(PDF: 180 KB / 3 pages). OFI-86C, SECCEN Verification of Citizenship, and
Page 6 of the SF-85 are designed so that as you fill out the first form,

forms, so that duplicate entries don't have to be made. Additionally,
DHS-10000-9 (10-04) is now available as a fill-in and also now posted on the

TSA OKs Some Transport of PFDs With CO2 Cartridges

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has published a list of
restricted and prohibitive items from carry-on and checked baggage on
